Limiting Development

Paul Milde supports – and has enacted – innovative and cost-effective approaches to curtailing runaway residential development.  As Supervisor, Paul successfully implemented Stafford County’s model TDR and PDR programs, which along with other county led conservation efforts has already protected over 12500 acres from residential development.  Paul’s fight to protect Crow’s Nest preserved 4200 acres of a pristine and unspoiled natural resource.  And, Paul achieved these results without infringing on property rights.

Paul will fight for effective land conservation programs in Richmond, giving localities the tools they need to protect against overdevelopment and sprawl.
